As it became clear that universities were needing to transition to online instruction, Drs. Wilson and Silverstein discussed ways to assist faculty beyond UK. They had already (working with Dr. Christine Goble in ME) developed a site to assist instructors on the College of Engineering, and jointly possessed a broad perspective on incorporating technology into learning and online delivery of courses. The concept of a webinar was brought to the AIChE Education Division and was immediately developed into the presentation given on March 20 and now archived on YouTube (https://youtu.be/eDnv5bYF_vM). The live webinar attracted far more attendees than any other webinar in the history of the AIChE Education Division webinar series.
